The Lower Primary Sports Day was a day of cheering and competing.
Each child took part in a team event with their classmates. Our class did not win any prizes during last year Sports day when they were in Primary 1. Many were disappointed.
I told Mr Yaidi to make sure they train hard this year. Their efforts did paid off. 2 ( Skipping and Hopping ) out of the 3 teams came in champions in their events. The 3rd team (hurdle relay) came in 4th. The were disappointed but I comforted them . Its the sportsmanship and spirit of participation that is more important. They should have the right attitude towards sports.
