Dear parents,
Time flies quickly and I have taught the children for a semester. It has been a wonderful journey of learning with all the children for the past half a year.I remembered the day I first met the little ones on their orientation day and when they first reported for school at Endeavour Primary School. Looking at the past photos in the blog, I realised how they have grown !
Most of the children have settled in well into the primary school environment. Many of the children in the class are well behaved and learn/play well with their friends. They display the school values of compassion, perserverance, diligence and integrity. I am thankful for them.
However, a handful of the children are also still learning to get along socially with their friends. There were times where I need to counsel or even disciplinec some of these children to teach them right and wrong. When I do that , I thank you for your trust and support. Two heads are better than one.Our end goal is helping the children to be responsible, safe and successful. I believe that when the child sees both of us singing the same tune, they will want to strive to do their best to improve.
Your child's progress report cards were given out during the last week of Term 2. Please feel free to approach me should you need to discuss your child's progress further. I look forward to our continued partnership together. A the June holidays begin, I hope that you will find meaningful quality time to bond with your child.
Please also use this time to revise with your child concepts that they may not have grasped well in Semester 1 .
I wish you and your family an enjoyable and blessed June holidays.
Regards.
Mrs Ow Yong
